In todays consumption society a lot of products are used. Most of them are bad for the environment because of the used material and its production process. On top of that producers of the 'smaller' countries don't get a fair chance (= not equal) to put their products on the market. Even if the consumer knows all this, he/she can't do much about it for there are few alternatives to choose from. Often sustainable options for a product are of a different aesthetical level. Equalz develops product with a high value for sustainability and design. By giving total insight in the used materials and the production process we want to gain the trust of the consumer in sustainability. We want to show that there is a choice for a similar (=equal) product that is sustainable and looks good.
